Yates joins ACE!

Yates Engineering Services recently joined the Association of Communication Engineers, also known as ACE.  ACE is a nonprofit organization of registered, professional consulting engineering firms committed to supporting the Consulting Engineer working in the field of telecommunications. This association, organized in 1950, is committed to the following objectives:

• To foster harmony throughout the engineering profession.
• To promote the professional and economic welfare of its members.
• To maintain professional standards as legally required and as outlined in the code of ethics of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
• To advance the value of the Consulting Engineer and establish his position in telecommunications engineering with the industry.

ACE works closely with RUS to provide continuing education, input to loan design practice, and serve clients in the best way possible.

We are excited to add our voice to this group and encourage potential fiber network builders to insist on hiring only professionally licensed design firms.  There are many instances where we compete for new work with firms that claim to provide FTTH Network design, but do so without professional licensing.  It is imperative that fiber network investments be designed, construction managed and built to the highest expectation and standards!  Before you select a firm, do the proper due diligence and place consideration on professional licensing!
