ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
Yates Engineering partnered with NITCO to bid on the right to design and build a municipal fiber network for Chestertown, IN. Yates Engineering, NITCO and the Town of Chesterton worked together to route a 15 mile path around the town, including passing a list of 40 businesses that were considered primary first customers. Yates Engineering then helped the Town select a contractor and award the work. The design included a meet me room where the Town could facilitate upstream connections to NTICO and the rest of the world.
