ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
In 2018 Yates Engineering Services teamed with Louisville Metro Government to work on their LFIT fiber infrastructure project. Connecting government offices and emergency service buildings is only the first step in a long-term vision Louisville has for a truly innovative smart city. The fiber optic backbone put in place to connect these government building will be leveraged to continue pushing Louisville to the forefront of smart cities.
