ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
In 2016 Frontier started their CAFII (Connect America Fund) build, providing High Speed Internet (HSI) to rural America. Frontier places fiber to a remote cabinet, places a cross connect, then utilizes the existing copper facilities to the customer that were too far from the Central Office to receive HSI. Now with the technology of fiber to the cabinet and utilizing the existing copper facilities, these customers have access to HSI.
Yates Engineering has been partnered with Frontier since 2016 providing quality fielding, engineering, CAD and GIS Mapping to Frontier. Yates has served 70 exchanges in the Frontier footprint with HSI and engineered approximately 245.1 miles of fiber for Frontier.
Yates Engineering has recently started engineering BAU work and INDOT road moves for Frontier in Southern Indiana.
